Meet Mariann Zorgel

A native of Niagara, Mariann after high school attended Niagara College, enrolling in their early childhood education program. That in turn led her into a career working under the Welland Heritage Council, a non-profit organization helping refugees and newcomers to Canada with everything from emergency shelter and ultimate housing, to learning English as their second language.

But that isn’t Mariann’s only exposure to the housing market. Some years ago, she and her husband made the decision that they needed to start making provisions for eventual retirement and what better way to do that than through real estate investments.

Consequently, they are personally involved in property management, first with student housing and then on to ownership of a multi-unit apartment complex.

Mariann took the period of Covid to make a career transition into real estate. Something she is both passionate about and also can draw on her many years of hands-on experience. She began at a local independent real estate firm, where she developed the skills and soon established herself as a successful realtor across Niagara. Now she has elected to do what so many other successful real estate professionals have done. She made the move to RE/MAX.

Mariann will be joining Frank Spano on the very successful Spano Team, working out of our Fonthill office. She can be reached at 905-892-9090 or directly at 905-359-2773
