They say behind every successful man you’ll find an amazing and talented woman. And while that may be somewhat chauvinistic in this day and age, in the case of Frank Prantera it is so very true. Frank Prantera is one of the very successful highly prominent realtors in the Niagara Region, and a very significant key to his success is his Administrator Anne Ferguson.
Anne didn’t start here in Niagara. She was born in Scotland, as her accent attests. Then when she was about 12 her parents moved to Canada. They didn’t stay permanently and when they moved back to Scotland Anne was too young to stay behind, and so she moved back. But Canada was in her heart. A few short years later, as a young bride of 20, she came back to Canada and found her way to Niagara. In addition to starting a family, Anne began her working career in the hospitality industry in Niagara-On-The-Lake, a great place to work and interact with people from all over the world. Anne’s natural warm and outgoing personality made her a perfect fit.
Then some 14-15 years later, Anne began working in the real estate industry. She worked at front desk/reception at RE/MAX Garden City Realty for about a year, doing a splendid job, and as a result moved to become administrative assistant to one of the RE/MAX Agents – Frank Prantera. With her excellent people skills, vast experience in the hospitality industry and training in a busy real estate office, Anne soon became invaluable to her new boss. She ran his office, interacted with his clients, kept him organized and 100 other things. But it soon became obvious that if Anne was going to really accomplish all she was capable of, she needed to become a licensed realtor herself. She enrolled in the courses and soon she too was licensed to sell real estate.
In her newly expanded role, Anne could continue to provide exceptional organizational and administrative services to Frank, but now she was in a position to help him directly with his buyers and sellers. “I love meeting and interacting with new people. But my greatest reward comes when I am working with buyers. I just love it when they find the perfect home and I know I played a part in helping them find just the right fit.”
